Accent L4-1.6L (2003)
1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
NOTE: Prior to doing any further work after disconnection of the battery cable, wait at least 30 seconds.
2. Remove the air bag module mounting bolts (2EA) with an asterix wrench. (Tor-x socket)
Disconnect the horn connector and the air bag module connector, and remove the air bag module.
3. Remove the steering wheel after removing a nut.
4. Remove the steering column upper and lower shrouds using a phillips screwdriver.
