Attach the Hi-Scan Pro to the DLC and select "Hyundai Vehicle Diagnosis" and "Automatic Transaxle" menus. Check "Temperature Sensor"
when the ATF is cold and hot. If the oil temperature sensor does not indicate as shown, replace the sensor:

DISCONNECT THE BATTERY AND PERFORM ADAPTIVE LEARNING:

Drive the vehicle until the ATF temperature is above the temperature shown.

Accelerate the vehicle through several 1-2-3-4 upshifts at small throttle openings (approximately 25-30% TPS) until shift flare or shift shudder
no longer occurs.
6.
TEST DRIVE THE VEHICLE.

If the above procedures have been completed and shift flare or shift shudder continues to occur, replace the transaxle.
