6. Check the clutch air gap between the clutch hub and the pulley mating surfaces with a feeler gauge. The air gap should be as follows:
Standard : 0.4-0.6 mm (0.0157-0.0236 in.)
Check at three locations equally spaced around the pulley.
7. If the clutch air gap is not within the dimensions specified above. repeat steps 4 through 6 with the various thickness shims until the air gap is
between the specified limits.
