Fuel Gauge Sender: Testing and Inspection

FUEL SENDER INSPECTION

1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the fuel tank cover retaining screws.
3. Remove the fuel sender assembly.

4. Using an ohmmeter, measure the resistance between terminals 3 and 4 at each float level.
5. Check that resistance changes smoothly when the float moves from "E" to "F".
