Band Apply Servo: Adjustments
1. Completely remove all dirt and other contaminating materials adhered around the kickdown adjust screw.
2. Loosen the lock nut.
3. Loosen and tighten the adjusting screw two times by torque of 5 Nm (43.2 inch lbs.).
4. Tighten the adjusting screw by torque 5 Nm (43.2 inch lbs.) and then, loosen the adjusting screw 3 to 3-1/3 turns.
5. Tighten the lock nut to the specified torque.
Lock nut: 15-22 Nm (11-16 ft. lbs).
NOTE: Before assembling, apply sealant (DC780 or equivalent) to center portion of the adjusting screw.
