OIL PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT ILLUMINATION
CONDITION:
The oil pressure warning light may illuminate while the engine is running on vehicles produced during the period between April and June 1993, even
though the engine oil pressure is within specification.
CAUSE:
The cap covering the oil pressure switch (Part # 94750-21030) may short to ground and cause the oil pressure light to go on.
CORRECTION:
Disconnect the oil pressure switch wire and remove the cap. Reconnect the wire onto the pressure switch. If the condition remains follow the procedure
outlined in the shop manual.
