If the switch does not function properly, replace the switch. If it does operate properly, reconnect and adjust the switch.

Accelerator switch adjustment.
Measure stroke B, (as shown in the illustration) at the point when the accelerator switch goes tom "ON" to "OFF" when the pedal is depressed. If
the dimension is not correct, adjust the switch using the adjusting bolt.
Standard value for B dimension:
4-8 mm (0.16 - 0.31 in.)
