DESCRIPTION:
In early 2OOO, Hyundai's automatic transaxle remanufacturer will no longer install an oil filler tube and oil level gauge (dipstick) on remanufactured
automatic transaxles, and will install a plug in place of the oil filler tube. The remanufacturer will place an O-ring for the oil filler tube inside an
envelope and attach the envelope to the manual control lever.
SERVICE PROCEDURE:
1.
Remove the dipstick and oil filler tube from the removed transaxle.
2.
Open the large plastic envelope and remove the O-ring from the package.
3.
Clean the oil filler tube and install the O-ring on the oil filler tube.
