Elantra L4-2.0L (2004)
HARSH OR DELAYED UPSHIFTS:
Attach the Hi-Scan Pro and select the following menus:
1-2 UPSHIFT:
"HYUNDAI VEHICLE DIAGNOSIS" "AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE" "FLIGHT RECORD"

"2nd Solenoid Duty", then F1 "FIX"
^
"OD Solenoid Duty", then F1 "FIX" F6 "RCD" "ENTER" Accelerate vehicle 1-2, then F6 "END" F1 "GRPH"
Confirm the PCM adjusts the 2nd solenoid duty during the 1-2 upshift similar to graph (2nd solenoid duty must change from 0% to 100% within 1-2
seconds).

If so, go to "DIAGNOSIS".

If not, check the wiring between the PCM and transaxle for a short or open circuit. If the wiring is OK, replace the PCM (unified ECU and TCU).
2-3 UPSHIFT:
Repeat for the 2-3 upshift
Accelerate vehicle 2-3, then F6 "END"
Confirm the PCM adjusts the OD solenoid duty during the 2-3 upshift similar to graph (OD solenoid duty must change from 0% to 100% within 1-2
seconds).

If so, go to "DIAGNOSIS".

If not, check the wiring between the PCM and transaxle for an open or short circuit. If the wiring is OK, replace the PCM (unified ECU and TCU).
3-4 UPSHIFT:
Repeat for the 3-4 upshift. Accelerate the vehicle 3-4, then F6 "END"
