Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

1.

Remove transaxle.

2.

Remove flywheel.

3.

Remove rear plate, seal case and seal.

4.

Using tool 09231-11000 or equivalent, press new seal into case, ensuring seal does not cock to one side.

5.

Install seal case and new gasket, then coat seal lips with engine oil.

6.

Install rear plate and flywheel.

7.

Install transaxle.
