Replacing the Jet Mixture Solenoid Valve

30.

Turn the ignition OFF to prevent damage to the ECU and stop any fuel from leaking. Separate the JMS terminal from the connector, as shown in
the illustration, and remove the JMS from the carburetor.

31.

Apply a small amount of petroleum jelly to the JMS O-ring, and install the new JMS to the carburetor.

Tightening Torque

JMS:    2.453.43 Nm (25-35 kg.cm., 22-30 in.lbs)

32.

Re-connect the intake air temperature sensor and vacuum hoses. and reinstall the air cleaner assembly.
