To begin, open the hood and install fender covers on both fenders.

Disconnect the intake air temperature sensor and vacuum hoses, and remove the air cleaner assembly

Enlarging the Secondary Air Port

Disassemble the secondary air filter case from the air cleaner assembly and remove the filter from the case.

4.

Enlarge the secondary air port in the filter case with the step drill provided. If necessary, remove any burrs with a file after drilling.

5.

Clean the filter case with compressed air, install the filter into the case and reassemble the case onto the air cleaner assembly.

CAUTION:

Always wear safety goggles when using compressed air to prevent any foreign matter from getting into your eyes.
