While holding the shim cap in place, remove the SST and allow the linkage to close on the shim.

Make sure the choke shim cap has not moved out of position. Then break off the installation handle from the shim cap.

Re-install the coolant hose on the carburetor and the high altitude compensator on the fire- wall clip.

Cleaning the SUB-EGR Valve

Disconnect the subEGR valve linkage by pressing in on the retaining pin and spring, and pulling upward on the linkage.

18.

Remove the rubber boot and then remove the sub-EGR valve.
