The primary main air jet that supplies air down the primary emulsion tube must be replaced with one of a larger size. The new jet can be identified
by the number 70.

Using a clean shop rag, cover both bores of the carburetor.

Unscrew the primary main airjet using a small blade-type screwdriver. With a pair of needle-nose pliers or tweezers, remove the jet from the air
horn.

CAUTION:

Take extreme care not to drop the jet into the carburetor.

Install the new primary main air jet into the carburetor air horn, again making sure that you do not drop the jet into the carburetor. Don't forget to
remove the rag when you're finished.

Installing the Choke Shim Cap
