Make sure the choke shim cap has not moved out of position, and break off the installation handle from the shim cap.

Re-install the coolant hose on the carburetor, and the high altitude compensator on the firewall clip.

Cleaning the SUB-EGR Valve

Disconnect the sub-EGR valve linkage by pressing in on the retaining pin and spring, and pulling upward on the linkage.

Remove the rubber boot and then remove the Sub-EGR valve.

CAUTION:

When removing the boot, be careful not to damage it.
