Warranty Information

Hyundai's campaign affects any Excel that has a Genuine Hyundai Cruise Control system.

THIS CAMPAIGN INCLUDES EXCELS REGARDLESS OF AGE OR MILEAGE.

It covers inspection and/or replacement of the cruise control module regardless of the vehicle's age, mileage or repair history.

All owners of affected vehicles are being notified that they should bring their cars in for this service. Your dealership will be reimbursed for parts and
labor costs associated with replacing the cruise control module.

Please tag and retain the old modules per Section 7 of the Warranty Policy and Procedures Manual. Place them in the replacement module box. All 
replaced modules will be requested under normal warranty return procedures. Do not ship these parts to the Warranty Technical Center (WTC) in
Fountain Valley, Calif., until they are specifically requested via your DCS.

ONLY REPLACEMENT CRUISE CONTROL MODULES SUPPLIED BY HMA MAY BE USED.

Only Hyundai Genuine Parts cruise control modules (PIN 00297-56500 or its successor) may be used for this repair.

All claims for this campaign will be reimbursed under Campaign Code 89003 CAM. Refer to your warranty Policy procedures manual for claim
submission procedure.
