7. Remove the fuel pump complete assembly from the fuel tank.

NOTE:

Take precaution to prevent any fuel from spilling in the vehicle.

8. Disconnect the fuel pump and sender connectors (G).

NOTE:

Release the lock tabs to disconnect the small connectors. Do not pull on the wires by itself. Fully seat the connectors until a "click" is heard when
reassembling.

9. Gently pry the lock tabs to remove the fuel feed hose (H) from the fuel filter.

NOTE:

Do not over-extend the lock tabs.

10. Remove the fuel pump top plate (I) by releasing the 3 holding hooks positioned at intervals of 120° from the (I') hook.
