3. The top right portion of the screen shows the logon status. Click on the Hyundai Logo for Hyundai vehicle's map update and follow the instructions
to obtain the map update discs. The time required for update discs to arrive at the dealership depends on the shipping method selected.
MAP Update Installation Procedure
NOTE:

Start software update with DVD1 first.

After completing DVD1 update, follow with DVD2, DVD3 and DVD4.
Cautionary Notes
1. Ensure that you have the proper discs prior to beginning the update procedure.
2. Ensure that the S/W discs (CD and DVD) are free from scratches. Take care while using the 51W discs to avoid scratches.
3. The vehicle's battery voltage must be stable during the S/W update. Either connect a battery charger to the vehicle or start and run the engine during
the update (approximately 3 hours).
4. Never switch off the car during the update process. Keep the ignition ON and do not shut off.
5. The S/W installation order is disc 1, 2, 3 and 4. This exact order must be followed to avoid errors.
6. Never insert more than one disc into the mechanism at any time. Once a disc is completed, remove it before proceeding to the next.
Potential Update Errors
The S/W update can be interrupted or fail under the following conditions:
1. The S/W discs have significant surface scratches. This can lead to data loss or discs that simply cannot be read. If this is the case, remove the disc
and wipe clean with a clean soft cloth from the center of the disc straight out to the edge of the disc. Never wipe a disc in a circular pattern. If the
disc still causes an error, use a new S/W disc.
2. The vehicle's battery voltage is interrupted or falls below 9V. If this is the case, the system will attempt to re-start the update automatically when a
stable power supply is attached to the vehicle. If it does not re-start automatically, repeat the steps for that disc.
