NOTE
If the AM and FM wires are reversed in the connector, they must be moved to the correct location in the connector.

Check the glass antenna grid wire connector for secure connection to the amp.
5.
Check for proper connection of the antenna feeder cable to amp.
NOTE
The antenna feeder cable is clipped to the antenna amplifier. Push the cable into the amplifier, then push the yellow collar into the amplifier to
release the cable.
6.
With the DVOM, check the grid lines for open circuits to the end of each grid, and short circuits to ground or between the AM and FM grids.
7.
Check the radio cable for short circuit to ground, or an open circuit.
8.
If the radio reception condition is not repaired through the above inspection methods, replace the antenna amplifier.
9.
If the radio reception issue persists, substitute a known good audio head unit with the unit in the vehicle.
