Confirm that the "G" sensor is installed in the vehicle as shown (arrow mark facing forward).

Measure the standard voltage values with the ignition switch "ON".
5.
Measure the standard resistance value between terminals 1 and 2 with the ignition switch OFF.

If any of the measured values is outside the standard values, and if there is no abnormality in power supply and ground wires, replace the "G"
sensor.
NOTES:

Install the "G" sensor in the vehicle position (arrow on the sensor pointing forward).

Do not drop the "G" sensor or subject it to shock at any time.
7.
With the ignition switch ON, measure the output voltage between the HECU connector 13 and ground.
