This bulletin supersedes TSB 03-40-014 to add DTC P0885 in formation.
DESCRIPTION:
DTC P0885 or P1723 (A/T control relay open/short) is set if the output voltage to the solenoids is less than 7 volts. P0885 or P1723 may be
accompanied by the following symptoms:

MIL illuminated
^
Transaxle held in 3rd gear fail-safe
^
Harsh shift into Reverse or Drive
If you are servicing a vehicle with these symptoms, follow the repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1.
Refer to the applicable ETM and check the A/T control relay fuse in the engine compartment (for other model years, refer to the applicable ETM)
shown.
