2001 SANTA FE FUEL CUT OFF (INERTIA) SWITCH
DESCRIPTION:
The 2001 model year Santa Fe is equipped with a fuel cut off (inertia) switch (part number 95980-26000) This device cuts off power to the fuel pump in
the event the vehicle is involved in a collision. If the switch is activated the vehicle cannot be restarted. The switch can be reset by pushing the button on
the top.
LOCATION:
The fuel cut oft switch is located on the left side strut tower in the engine compartment (figures 1 & 2).

The fuel cut off switch (connector E18) can be found on pages SD-69, SD-79 and SD-88 of the 2001 Santa Fe Electrical Troubleshooting Manual.
