DESCRIPTION:

The tire inflation pressure label for Santa Fe vehicles produced through September 29, 2003 does not include tire rim size marking information.

This bulletin describes how to replace the tire inflation pressure labels on the affected vehicles.

1.

A recall notification letter and a new tire inflation pressure label are being sent to all affected Santa Fe vehicle owners. Instructions are included so
owners may apply the labels themselves.

2.

Dealers are requested to install the labels for customers who need assistance.

3.

Dealers are requested to install new labels on all affected vehicles in their inventory prior to retail using the tire inflation pressure label
replacement procedure provided in this bulletin.

TIRE INFLATION PRESSURE LABEL REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE:

NOTE: 

Verify that the vehicle was produced on or before September 29, 2003. Verify that the vehicle has an open Campaign 064 via DCS.

NOTE:

The new label should be installed over the original label when the temperature is above 50°F (10°C).
