Use a knife to cut the rubber pads to remove both pads from the tube.
NOTE
Use caution not to scratch the finish of the oil cooler tube during removal of the rubber pads.
11.
Remove both rubber pads from the oil cooler tubes and discard them.
12.
Inspect the oil cooler tubes for red corrosion by looking from the front of the vehicle.
13.
Raise the vehicle. Inspect the oil cooler tubes for red corrosion by looking from the bottom of the vehicle.
