9.

Inspect the solenoid harness wiring in the area beneath the control shaft detent. Check for a possible short circuit against the edge of the valve
body.

If the harness insulation is damaged, go to Step 11. If not, go to Step 24.

Disconnect the control harness at the solenoid connector.

12.

Remove the snap ring to the solenoid connector.

13.

Disconnect the connectors to the solenoids and temperature sensor on the valve body.
