Remove the control wiring harness band cable using a screwdriver.

8.

Use pliers to squeeze the tabs and pull the airbag wiring band cable out of the bracket hole.

9.

Remove the bracket bolt.

10.

Pull the wiring harness and connectors forward as shown for ease of installation of the extension wire.
