DESCRIPTION:
Some 2004 MY 3.5L Santa Fe and 2004 MY XG350 vehicles may have been produced with cylinder blocks that have an insufficient head gasket sealing
surface between the # ,6 cylinder and the adjacent cooling passage. This may cause coolant to enter the crank case, and/or compression gases to enter
into the cooling system. Results of a leaking head gasket can be seen as a milky white substance in the engine oil, white smoke out of the exhaust pipe,
and/or rough idling. This bulletin explains how to check for a leaking head gasket.
