PROCEDURE:

NOTE:

Verify that the vehicle is affected by identifying the vehicle production date range (through December 15, 2003).

1.

Remove the key from the ignition.

CAUTION:

The ignition key MUST be removed from the ignition to protect other electrical components near the 4WD module.

2.

Open the driver's door.

3.

Move the driver seat to the full forward position.

4.

Open the left rear side door.

5.

Locate the 4WD electronic control module under the driver's seat.
