NOTE:

For additional access to 4WD module, slit the carpet carefully as shown.

6.

Disconnect the 4WD electronic control module (ECM) connector.

7.

Remove the 4WD electronic control module mounting bolts (10 mm, 2 each).

8.

Remove the 4WD electronic control module from the vehicle.

9.

Install the new 4WD electronic control module.

NOTE:

Confirm that the new 4WD - electronic control module was produced after 2003/12/01 (3Z01) by decoding the year, month and date
information as described in the PARTS INFORMATION SECTION.

10.

Install all parts in the reverse order of removal.
