NOTE:
This bulletin supersedes TSB 11-FL-003. Additional instructions have been provided to describe the correct installation of the thermostat into the
housing and for refilling of coolant. The reference to scrap removed parts has been deleted as removed parts should be stored in event they are
requested by WTC.
DESCRIPTION:
Some vehicles equipped with the 2.4L engine may exhibit a check engine light with DTC P0128 (coolant thermostat) under some driving conditions
when the heater/defroster is used at maximum blower speed and high heat setting.
Perform the below service procedure should DTC P0128 be found.
NOTE:
There are no vehicle performance issues associated with this condition.

1. Drain the engine coolant until the level is just below the thermostat.
