Correct installation of thermostat:
5. Remove, flush, and refill the engine coolant.
IMPORTANT:
Be sure to fill with 50150 antifreeze/water coolant mix. Incorrect antifreeze mixture may cause temperature related issues including DTC P0128.
6. Start the engine and check for leaks.
7. Recheck coolant level and make sure all air is bled from the system.
NOTE:
Use a suitable tool to properly allow the cooling system to fully eliminate the remaining air while the engine is idling. Failure to bleed air from
the system can result in insufficient heater performance.
8. Erase DTC P0128 from the ECM.
