Measure the distance between the black plastic backing and the interior color cloth fabric.

NOTE:

If this measurement is greater than or equal to 5 mm replace the door panel.

NOTE:

If this measurement is less than 5 mm DO NOT replace the door panel. Use the following procedure to repair the panel.

Using a clear super glue gel adhere the foam and cloth to the black plastic backing.

WARNING:

Excessive application of the glue could discolor or harden the fabric.

Install door handle housing in reverse order of removal procedures

Inspect the carpet for proper assembly and permanent deformations. Focus on the center tunnel area and the foot well in the front and rear.

NOTE:

If adjustment or repair is required, use the following procedure.

NOTE:

If repairs are performed, file a claim under normal warranty procedures.

Adjust/tuck carpet under center console.

NOTE:

No parts replacement required.
