Mark the floor mat 1-1/2" from the left edge and 1" from the bottom edge.

Using a hammer and a 9/16" or 14 mm socket punch a hole through the top side of the floor mat. Trim any excess fabric.

4.

Squeeze the upper and lower floor mat grommet halves together in the hole.
