Inspect the rear bumper below the gusset plate for paint damage or poor fit to body.

NOTE:

If the bumper is overflush by more than 3 mm use the repair procedure below, excluding steps

NOTE:

If paint damage is visible use the following procedure.

NOTE:

If repairs are performed, file a claim under normal warranty procedures.

Remove the phillips head screw under the rear hatch guide.
