Remove the lower strut mounting bolts and pull the knuckle away from the strut. 

Front strut assembly mounting bolt (to knuckle) torque:

15.5 - 17.5 kgf-m (112.1 - 126.6 lb-ft.).

Pull the CV shaft out of the knuckle/hub assembly by pushing down on the knuckle/lower control arm assembly and sliding the CV shaft out.

Remove any foreign material from the surface between the front hub (G) and the driveshaft (H) with a clean cloth.

Clean the newly supplied plastic washer and apply grease to the washer as shown in the picture. This will keep the washer in place during
re-installation.

NOTE:

Be careful not to apply excessive amounts of grease in this area. Grease is only used to keep the washer in place during re-installation.
