CHANGE TO DIFFERENTIAL OIL SEAL
DESCRIPTION:
The differential oil seal has been changed to a separate part number for the drivers side and passenger side of the transaxle.
NOTE:
The oil grooves on the sealing surface have been optimized for the rotational direction of the axle. It is important to install the seal in the specified
location.
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
FOR ALL EXCEPT 2006 AND LATER ACCENT:
Use the special tool (available from SPX/Kent-moore at 1-800-345-2233) or equivalent tool to install the oil seal.
