18. Install 2 fender skirt retainers in the rear wheel well through the holes in the cover and into the holes in the sheet metal. Tighten and expand both
retainers.
19. Using a #2 phillips screwdriver, install the 4mm self tapping screws supplied with the board (7 per side) through the holes in the bottom of the
cover and into the sill garnish mounting clips. Starting at the rear. Press upward on the bottom of the cover to keep the clips from rotating while
installing the screws.
20. With a #2 phillips offset screwdriver, install the 2 self tapping screws in the front wheel well through the holes in the cover and into the retainers
from which they were removed.
21. While holding the rear-top portion of the cover tight to the vehicle, insert the #8 self-drilling screw where indicated on the cover. Insert the screw
using the phillips drill bit and variable speed drill.
22. Remove trim removal tool after installation is complete and confirm that there is sufficient clearance between the rear door and the running board
cover.
