When the reprogramming is completed successfully, turn the ignition to the OFF position and then start the engine to check for proper operation.

Manual Update Procedure

NOTE

In the event that menu option "01. SM 2.7 01MY/02MY ECM/AUTO MODE]" does not download the new program, option "02. SM 2.7
01MY/02MY ECM [ERROR MODE]" must be used.

1.

Turn the ignition to the ON position.

2.

Turn the Hi-Scan Pro ON and press ENTER.

3.

Select option "21. SM 2.7 BATTERY DRAIN" and press ENTER.

4.

Select option "02. SM 2.7 01MY/02MY ECM [ERROR MODE]" and press ENTER.

5. Choose the correct specification for your vehicle by identifying the VIN and BCM specification table.
