Timing Belt: Service and Repair

TIMING BELT 

REMOVAL 

1. Remove the fan, spacer, water pump pulley, and belt.

2. Remove the timing belt cover.

3. Move the timing belt tensioner pulley toward the water pump, and temporarily secure it.

4. Remove the timing belt from the camshaft sprocket.

5. Remove the camshaft sprocket.

6. Remove the crankshaft pulley.

7. Remove the timing belt.
