1.

Turn the ignition switch off and disconnect the battery negative terminal.

2.

Remove the lower crash pad assembly on the driver's side.

3.

Remove the control relay.

4.

Remove the relay box.

5.

Remove the plastic ECU harness protector bolted below the ECU and disconnect the three connectors from the electronic control unit (ECU).
