DESCRIPTION
1991-1992 Excels and Scoupes may produce increased exhaust emissions in high altitude driving conditions.
This bulletin includes the service campaign procedures to correct this condition by installing an adapter and modulator kit and inspecting the catalyst and
fuel pump.
Adapter and Modulator Kit Installation
1.
Record the customer's preset radio stations. With the ignition key in the off position, disconnect the battery negative terminal.
2.
Remove the driver's side lower crash pad.
3.
Remove the control relay.
