Idle Position Switch: Description and Operation

Idle Switch / Motor Position Sensor Locations

Idle Switch System

The Idle Switch, which is a contact type switch, senses accelerator operation. The switch is installed at the tip of the Idle Speed Control (ISC) servo.
When the throttle valve is in the idle position, the ISC lever pushes the push-pin to turn on the contact.
