Open the left door and place a punch mark over the 11th character on the B-Pillar identification plate. This will indicate that the campaign
procedures have been completed. Proceed to Step 1 of the Modification Label and Proof of Correction Form instructions.

Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove the Engine Control Module (ECM) from the vehicle following the instructions in the Shop Manual.
