Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection
Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) Location
To test the Throttle Position Sensor, located on the throttle body, proceed as follows.

Disconnect the throttle position sensor connector.
Throttle Position Sensor Resistance Test
Throttle Position Sensor System
2.
Measure the resistance between terminals 2 and 3 of the throttle position sensor connector.
Terminal 2: Sensor ground
Terminal 3: Sensor power
Standard Value...3.5-6.5 Kohm
