Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Air Flow Sensor Location

Intake Air Temperature Sensor

To test the Air Temperature Sensor (Intake), located on the air flow sensor, in the air cleaner housing. Remove the air flow sensor (AFS) connector and
proceed as follows.

Intake Air Temperature Test Hook-up

1.

Measure the resistance between terminals 4 and 6.

Terminals 4: Intake air temperature output
Terminals 6: Sensor ground
