1.
Place selector lever in Neutral range.
2.
On all models, loosen two control cable to manual control lever adjusting nuts, then place manual control lever in the ``neutral'' position.
3.
Rotate inhibitor switch body until hole .47 inch wide end of manual control lever aligns with switch body flange of equal length, Fig. 7.
4.
Tighten two switch attaching bolts without disturbing switch position.
5.
On 1989 models, proceed as follows:
a. Loosen adjusting nuts ``A'' and ``B'' and keep them apart from the adjuster, then pull the cable gently in the direction of ``F,'' Fig. 8.
b. Tighten adjusting nut ``A'' until there is contact with the adjuster.
c. Secure adjusting nut ``A,'' then turn nut ``B'' to lock.

On all models, ensure selector lever is shifted to Neutral range, then remove slack from control cable and tighten adjusting nuts. Ensure proper
operation of control lever.
