Steering Wheel: Service and Repair
1.
Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove horn pad screws and horn pad.
2.
Remove steering wheel locknut and washer.
3.
On models with 3.0L engine, pull dynamic damper forward, then lift up and remove.
4.
On all models, scribe alignment marks on steering shaft and steering wheel, then remove wheel using steering wheel puller 09561-11001 or
equivalent.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Torque retaining nut to 29-36 ft.lbs.
