Service and Repair for Front Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber Component

Raise and support vehicle.
2.
Remove lateral rod mounting bolt, Figs. 2 through 5.
3.
Raise torsion axle and arm assembly with a suitable jack, then remove shock absorber lower mounting nuts.
4.
Lower vehicle, then remove shock absorber upper mounting nuts, then the shock absorber assembly from vehicle.
5.
Reverse procedure to install. Tighten nuts and bolts to specifications.
