Clutch Master Cylinder: Service and Repair
Bleed hydraulic clutch system whenever any components have been removed or clutch pedal is spongy.
1.
Loosen bleeder screw at clutch release cylinder.
2.
Slowly push clutch pedal down until air is expelled. Keep pedal depressed until bleeder screw is tightened.
3.
Ensure clutch master cylinder has sufficient fluid during bleeding. Use only DOT 3 brake fluid.
