Transmission Position Switch/Sensor: Description and Operation
Gear Selector Position Switch (Inhibitor Switch) location
This switch detects whether the select lever is positioned in N or P. Based on this signal, the ECU senses the automatic transmission load and operates
the Idle Speed Control (ISC) servo to keep the optimum idle speed.
